If you've ever been in love you know what Im talking about it...you know when you fall in love it takes over you like an obsession...a drug.... a feeling that soaks right to your bones and you just cant seem to find what to wear...and you wait and wait by the phone all day Will she call me?...Will he call me?...Do I call her..? and then when finally you GET UP THE COURAGE AND GO FOR IT! and you pick up the phone and your voices finally meet you both play it off like Yeah I was so not thinking about you! but in reality All you wanna say is YOU LOVE THEM!...you cant sleep...you cant eat...you can think...or do anything...you go crazy! Then you finally go on that first date where you sit in her driveway and just stare and STARE at each other for hours smirking and smiling...or you stay up to 6 in the mourning watching videos on MTV..and when you walk her to her door and say goodbye for the first time you think to yourself should you or shouldn't you go in for the kiss...and if you lucky...just maybe...she kisses you first for that first time...Its that feeling for the first six weeks, months, year, two years...that you experience that makes you feel absolutely amazing inside and really vulnerable at the same time...The same feeling that lets you know you really are ALIVE... and its the best fucking feeling ever!!!! ...and this love has the power that can change you and make you better person and after awhile you feel invincible....

REFORM INDUSTRIES

The premise behind the original idea was that back in the day roughly 2003-2004 a few of us were competing in different "extreme" sports. I was wakeskating. A friend of mine was an upcoming Pro Wakeboarder named Justin Butinsky. Another one of us in the group was as upcoming surfer competing in pro/am contest. Well all of us being relatively unknown felt like we were mistreated by lack of name and or sponsors especially Justin he got the worst of it..So I had this rad idea for a company called Insane Company. Started early 2002 with about 50 shirts out there circulating in the world. The company soon flopped a year later. So here we are 2003 the group of us had become extremely supportive of each other going to all of our different sporting events. We had banded together in this rebellious militia so to speak. Our goals were such that we wanted to improve not only our lives but the sports we love too! There were so many politics involved in judged competitions we needed a "change" a "REFORM" to the book at which today standards are written. We need a name for our cause. We needed a face for our "MOVEMENT" I decided to bring back this idea for "Insane Company" This radical idea for a company. and use it as platform for this change. I started spreading the word of the idea every chance I got blogging, t-shirts a little street advertising. Recruiting anyone I could to this NEW MOVEMENT. Something was missing though something that simply got our message across. At this time Justin was starting picking up sponsors in wakeboarding one was a shop based iin Orlando, FL called Performance.. well one day after wakeboarding I noticed some of the stickers had fallen off his helmet leaving " r form"... r-form.. = REFORM This was it the catalyst we had been looking for and since we dealing with not just a sport but an entire industry... Reform Industries was born.
Since 2004 Reform has risen and has fallen and has risen and fallen well finally I decided the idea was going to be shelf not starting it until we had a solid foundation. Finally in 2006 I decided to really hold back on broadcasting it keeping the idea alive but dark in secrecy...
The time has come again THERE IS A MOVEMENT BREWING from sea to air, East coast to west coast! From your local surf spot to your local mountain. THE ACTION SPORTS OF TODAY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME... With progression at the helm and the athletes of tomorrow at the front line THE BOOK AT WHICH THE STANDARDS OF TODAY WERE WRITTEN WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!
WITH EVERY MOVEMENT, EVERY REVOLUTION,... THERE IS A MESSAGE... A CAUSE TO CONVEY, REFORM INDUSTRIES BRINGS THAT TO THE MASSES IN ONE NOT SO ORDINARY CLOTHING COMPANY!

Urban Shredding!!!! (A Story of First Decent)
The crisp Arctic air deposited a healthy amount of flakes on Cascade peaks, but nowhere near the amount needed to put us back on track for the season. Nevertheless, news of incoming storms had Northwest riders breaking in their Sorels, re-waxing their Mervin boards and putting another coat of lacquer on their outerwear. Hype levels were off the charts. The hype was so great that Mount Baker was forced to open in spite of lack of snow. In fact, I am not even sure that they have snow. But they do have a bunch of stir-crazy NW snowboarders eager to fork over $50 for a lift ticket. So on Sunday, December 14, 2008, Mount Baker opened for the 2008-2009 season. I didn’t go. Instead, I woke up late from the vast depths of ridiculousness that transpired the night before. I had an incident with not one, but two kegs. Despite going big (for me anyway), I was awake at 8 am, calling homies to see if I could make snowboarding happen. Since the only person who answered the phone seemed to still be drunk, it wasn’t looking promising.
Slightly discouraged, I looked out the window and realized that driving to the mountain was actually unnecessary — there was a solid couple of inches of snow on the ground! Confident that I could make urban magic happen in the city, I opted to go back to sleep. When I finally got up, geared up and convinced my personal photographer to come with me (aka my 15 year old brother), it was about 10:30. Perfect time for some urban boardin’! I should clarify though. I have no interest in jibbing, bomb dropping or otherwise having your typical urban shred sesh. I was looking for serious soul boarding, maybe even some urban first descents.
First destination was my parents neighbor hood, but almost as soon as we got in the car, the phone rang. It was my formerly drunk friend Nate and I told him the plan.
“We have a stair set and a hill!” he said. And with that, we were on our way to pick up our posse. I told Nate we’d be there in a few minutes so to get ready, but when we arrived, I found him scrambling eggs for breakfast and drinking leftover keg beer. I was serious about getting the sweetest myspace shot ... hahah, but I figured I would be able to get more extreme with a good breakfast in me. As we ate, hungover people began emerging from all over, and pretty soon our crew was six deep and a dog.
With full stomachs, brand new gear and an empty mountain dew bottle full of keg beer, we finally started shredding in the street. Nate crushed the stair set, there was some warm up dancing and we even saw a hit and run. I decided to try a sweet stonewall drop, which not gonna lie, didn’t go so well. (Insert shot of bruised Knee) Finally, we all piled into my buddy’s van and headed off to get our shred on.
The first spot we ended up at was the elementry school behind Haggens. In my mind, there was a giant grassy hill next to the school, but as it turned out, the hill was covered in bushes and dropped off about 10 feet at the bottom. In the freezing cold and whipping wind, we trudged around the school, looking for another, more epic hill. We didn’t find the powder drifts I was hoping for, but we did find a perfect ollie-on ledge. Alex and Nate took turns riding a spot that has probably never been done on a snowboard before, and the rest of us stood around and froze. With a few shots in the bag, we decided My parents house was a better bet for truly epic shredding.
The roads we’re pretty trecherous, and we almost hit a dog trying to drive up the steep Alabama Hill to my parents. The scene at my parents house was pretty ridiculous. Cars abandoned everywhere, old people walking their poodles, and of course, tons of children with sleds all vied to ruin our session. After all, if they did it first, it wouldn’t really be a first descent anymore. The jib possibilities were endless though. Flat bars, rock drops and cement ledges were everywhere. Nate, who at this point was drunk again, was unstoppable, riding his snowboard while the rest of us walked (in our defense, he was the only one with an old board.)
After climbing the hill for awhile, we saw it. A slight gully wrapped through trees and there was even a bike trail that made for a sweet jump. This was it. My moment. I hurried up the hill, with Alex and our other friend Nate following behind. I claimed this one, and even though they managed to strap in before me, I was going to make it happen. The problem with riding on leaves covered with a dusting of snow is it’s hard to turn, stop, or really have any sort of control. It wasn’t going to stop me. IT WAS tIME to GEt EXtREME!!!! I pointed my snowboard towards the bottom and went for it. The snow was also very sticky, so it was a slow process at first, but i picked up speed and caught some out-of-control air off the jump. Stuck the landing, and as I rapidly approached the bottom, I realized there was no real way to stop. The edge of the road had other ideas though, and I jarred dramatically into it, ending my line. It wasn’t enough to kill the rush. I’d just had my first urban descent and it was a high I can’t possibly explain.
This day will undoubtedly go down as one of the best of my season, and only I (and Alex and Nate) can say we’ve shredded that line on Alabama Hill. !!!!!!

VIVA LA REVOLUTION! story of the underdog!
This is story about YOU the underdog..
You've always heard you won't amount to anything ! That
And it kills me to watch the agony beyond her eyes
Tragic the way people pass her by
But now I realize
[Chorus]
That everyone sees her
But nobody knows her
She screams in her pillow
For a better tomorrow
She hates it
But she takes it
Watch out for that girl
One day she may change the world
[2nd Verse]
She's original
Never trying to fit in
She's got a way to always go
Against the grain
Oh yea!
Someday they'll see how beautiful she really is
I know that last will be the first
The tables gonna turn cause...
[Chorus]
That everyone sees her
But nobody knows her
She screams in her pillow
For a better tomorrow
She hates it
But she fakes it
Watch out for that girl
One day she may change the world
[Bridge]
Maybe she'll be in a movie
Maybe she'll be in a song
Better pay her some attention
Before she's gone
[Additional Lyrics]
She's an underdog
Yea
She means the world to me
Yea
[Chorus]
Everyone sees her
But nobody knows her
She screams in her pillow
For a better tomorrow
She hates it
But she makes it
Watch out for that girl
One day she may change the world
Everyone sees her
But nobody knows her
She screams in her pillow
For a better tomorrow
She hates it
But she makes it
Watch out for that girl
One day she may change the world

WITH EVERY WINTER comes a journey that is long and fable! A journey that begins with the fall of the first snow flake. When an ordinary man searches the globe pushing the limits each step of way. The latest step in this journey brings us to TAHOE! Where they have received 3ft + and more is still falling!!!! Will you be there to slay this dragon?????
December 15, 2008- A strong cold North Pacific winter storm continues to fall today, accumulating at a rate of 1 inch per hour, with snow fall totals ranging between 22 and 36 inches at TAHOE. A winter storm warning is in effect for the Tahoe Basin and the National Weather Service is calling for another 18-30 inches by 10 pm Monday Night.
